Eleanor Rigby - Douglas Coupland

Completed Feb. 15 4/5

Douglas Coupland is my favorite author, I haven't read anything by him that I haven't loved and this was no exception. It's a story about a lonely woman who is reunited with her son she gave up for adoption in high school. Not as good as Generation X or Miss Wyoming, but still fabulous. It has more of a Girlfriend in a Coma feel, a bit more bizarre than his other books. And they're both names of songs!

First Sentence: I had always thought that a person born blind and given sight later on in life by the miracles of modern medicine would feel reborn.
Last Sentence: Goodbye, all of you, Your friend, Liz.
